The products created through cable processing play a significant role in our everyday lives, even though this often goes unnoticed. Without them, many things in our world simply would not function. Wherever electrical currents flow or signals are transmitted, a cable assembly is almost always responsible for ensuring that this happens reliably.
Despite the importance of cable processing, there is still no established vocational training program in which the technologies used in the processing of cables and wires, as well as the production of crimped and pressed connections, can be systematically learned.
As a result, companies in this industrial sector have to develop and implement their own training programs. At the same time, the continuously increasing quality requirements for crimp connections create new challenges for production processes and, consequently, for topic-specific training of employees in cable assembly.
The goal of the Crimp Academy is to provide the foundation for sound basic and advanced training for employees in cable assembly. In our seminars, we teach the required know-how and the fundamentals needed to achieve optimal product quality in production — independently of equipment manufacturers, machine types, or tool systems used in cable processing.
An important part of optimal, practice-oriented training and further education is access to a high-quality machine park that allows know-how in these manufacturing processes to be taught in a practical and application-oriented way. This is available in the seminar rooms at our training locations.
